EDITOR’S RAMBLE

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had a great time over the festive season and Santa brought you plenty of goodies for your bike.
If you’re one of the tough riders who are out on two wheels 365 days a year, take it steady over the following wintry weeks. Let’s hope spring is just around the corner and all this global warming has finally started to have a positive effect on our dismal weather!
It only seems like yesterday when I was handed the Used Bike Guide handlebars, in fact it was a year ago in January 2009. Hopefully I’ve steered it safely through a tricky time and we’ve got some big plans for the magazine in 2010.
Look out for issue 230 because we’ll be working hard to revamp UBG over the next few weeks. We’ll still be bringing you our real world road tests but we’ll also be introducing a few new features that will help you when you come to buy a new bike.
We will also be taking a reader out shopping to a bike dealer and letting them road test a few bikes before they make up their mind on which one to buy. If you’d like to come shopping with us get in touch at editor@usedbikeguide.com – don’t worry, you won’t be forced to buy a bike on the day but you might just find your dream machine...
